(including also parts of Llantrisaint and Llanwonno pars.), 23,938 ac., pop. 55,632; P.O., T.O., at Ystrad Rhondda; the par. contains Llwynpia and other mining centres; the township of Ystradyfodwg forms the Rhondda parl. div. of the co. of Glamorgan.
