Descriptive gazetteer entries

In 1870-72, John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales described Banhadla like this:

BENHADLAF (Isaf and Uchaf), two townships in the parish of Llanrhaiadr-yn-Mochnant, on the mutual border of Denbigh and Montgomery, 10 miles SW of Chirk. Real property, £4,265 and £2,471. Pop., 207 and 100.

This is the only descriptive gazetter entry we have found, but you may be able to find further references to Banhadla by doing a full-text search here.
