TOSTOCK, a parish in Stow district, Suffolk; 1½ mile W of Elmswell r. station, and 6½ E by S of Bury-St. Edmunds. Post town, Bury-St. Edmunds. Acres, 945. Real property, £2,322. Pop., 382. Houses, 78. The manor belongs to P. Huddlestone, Esq. T. Halland T. House are chief residences. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Ely. Value, £307.* Patron, the Rev. W. G. Tuck. The church is old but good. Charities, £10.
