A work-limiting health condition is a long-term health condition that limits the kind and/or amount of work an individual can do. The question about whether a health conditions limits the kind and/or amount of work that can be done is asked regardless of whether an individual is employed or not. A long-term health condition is one that has lasted, or is expected to last, for 12 months or longer.
