Dochgarroch, a hamlet in Inverness parish, Inverness-shire, on the Caledonian Canal, at the foot of Loch Dochfour, 4½ miles SW of Inverness. It has a regulating lock on the canal, for averting winter floods of Loch Ness whenever these rise above the standard-level of the navigation; and has also a public school.
