Ernan Water, a rivulet in the Edinglassie section of Tarland parish, W Aberdeenshire, rising close to the boundary with Banffshire, and running 7¼ miles east-south -eastward, till it falls into the Don at Inverernan, after a total descent of 1300 feet.Ord. Sur., sh. 75, 1876.
