Gart, The, a fine mansion in Callander parish, Perth shire, on the left bank of the river Teith, 1¼ mile SE of the village. Built about 1832 by Admiral Sir William Houston Stewart, it now is the seat of Daniel Ainslie, Esq., who holds 180 acres in the shire, valued at £212 per annum.
