Haer, a moorish tract on the mutual border of Blairgowrie and Lethendy parishes, Perthshire, 2¼ miles S of Blairgowrie town. It contained a great number of tumuli, many of which, being destroyed in the course of modern agricultural improvements, were found to contain two stone coffins and great quantities of human bones; hence it is thought to have been the scene of some great unrecorded battle.Ord. Sur., sh. 48, 1868.
