Lochcote House, a handsome mansion of 1843 in Torphichen parish, Linlithgowshire, 4½ miles N of Bathgate. Its owner, William David Forbes, Esq. (b. 1876; suc. 1883), holds 1193 acres in the shire, valued at £1205 per annum.—Ord. Sur., sh. 31, 1867.
