Newlaw, a hill in Rerwick parish, Kirkcudbrightshire, 1¼ mile NW of Dundrennan, and 3½ miles ESE of Kirkcudbright. It has an altitude of 599 feet above sea-level, and commands a very extensive and magnificent view of the Kirkcudbrightshire seaboard and the Irish Sea, horizoned by the Isle of Man and the Irish Mountains of Mourne.Ord.
