Codnor, township and vil. (ry. sta. Codnor Park), Heanor par., Derbyshire, near Erewash river and canal, 5½ miles NE. of Belper, 1931 ac., pop. 3591; P.O., T.O.; in vicinity of vil. are the ruins of C. Castle (13th century), long the seat of the Greys of Codnor.
