Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for Duddon

Duddon.-- river, Cumberland and Lancashire; rises on Wrynose, and flows 20 miles SW. along the boundary of the cos. to the Irish Sea near Broughton in Furness; from Broughton it forms an estuary, 7 miles long, called Duddon Sands.
