Portmoak, par., E. Kinross-shire, on Loch Leven, 9957 ac., pop. 1042; the church is at Scotlandwell vil., which is 5 miles W. of Leslie. Andrew Wyntoun (about 1400), the chronicler, and Michael Bruce (1746-1767), the poet, were natives.
