Upchurch, par. and vil., Kent, on a creek of the Medway, 5 miles E. of Chatham, 3122 ac., pop. 1121; P.O.; has remains of a Roman cemetery, extensive traces of a Roman pottery, and large gravel pits abounding with fossils.
