Burham, par. and vil., mid. Kent, on river Medway, 4½ miles NW. of Maidstone, 1758 ac. and 21 foreshore, pop. 1353; P.O.; has extensive pottery and cement works. In vicinity of vil. is a quarry, which abounds in fossil remains.
