Clogher, par. and vil., in the above bar., on river Blackwater, 9 miles SE. of Fintona and 10 miles S. of Beragh ry. sta.-par., 49,763 ac., pop. 10,166; vil., pop. 225; P.O., T.O. Market-day, Saturday. Though now a mere village, Clogher was formerly a parl. bor., and is still the see of a bishop. The cathedral and episcopal palace are handsome edifices.
