Killorglin, town and par., W. co. Kerry, near the mouth of river Laune, 13 miles NW. of Killarney - par., 30,845 ac., pop. 8013; town, pop. 1028; P.O., T.O., 1 Bank. Market-day, Thursday. Vessels with a draught up to 12 ft. can reach a quay near the town. It has trade in corn, and salmon-fishing is carried on.
