Rock Island, on N. side of entrance to Crook Haven, SW. co. Cork, 1 mile (by ferry) from Crookhaven; P.O.; on point is a lighthouse 45 ft. high, with 2 fixed lights 67 ft. above high water and seen 13 and 10 miles.
