(South Cave and Wallingfen, extending into Eastrington par.), 8317 ac., pop. 2065; vil., 10 miles NW. of Hull; P.O., T.O., 1 Bank. South Cave is situated in a wooded hollow of the Wolds, and was the seat of the ancestors of George Washington, a fine portrait of whom is in Cave Castle.
