Nenagh.-- market and assize town, township, and par., with ry. sta., N. co. Tipperary, on river Nenagh, 28 miles NE. of Limerick and 96½ miles SW. of Dublin par., 3881 ac., pop. 5706; township, 2093 ac., pop. 5422; 3 Banks, 2 newspapers. Market-day, Thursday. Nenagh has a good general trade. The remains of a castle are situated in the town.
