It is a handsome edifice, comprising forty residences and a chapel with beautiful lofty spire; it is occupied by ladies and gentlemen of reduced circumstances, who have a weekly allowance of £1 each; and it was founded and is superintended by John Huggins, Esq. of Sittingbourne.
