The property is divided among a few. The living is a rectory in the diocese of York. Value, £70. Patron, Sir Tatton Sykes. The church has a fine Norman doorway, but was recently in bad condition. A brick octagonal tower stands on Hilston Mount; was built in 1762; and is 62 feet in circuit, and 50 feet high.
