Real property, £2, 624. Pop., 582. Houses, 126. The property is much subdivided. The manor belonged to William de Vernay, of the 14th century; and belongs now to several proprietors. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Bath and Wells. Value, £153. * Patron, Trinity College, Oxford. The church consists of nave, chancel, and S chapel, with porch and tower; and is good.
