Binnie, East and West, two hamlets on the SE border of Linlithgow parish, partly also in Uphall parish, 1¼mile NNW and 1¾ WNW of Uphall village. Excellentsandstone is quarried in their vicinity, and has been extensively used for building in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
