BETTWS, a township in Llanfawr parish, Merioneth; in the vale of Eidernion, 1½ mile NE of Bala. Pop., 232. Fairs are held on 16 March, 22 June, 12 Aug., 16 Sept., and 12 Dec. There is a Calvinistic Methodist chapel.
