ARLESCOTE, a hamlet in Warmington parish, Warwick; near Nadbury camp, 4¼ miles ESE of Kington. Pop., 43. Arlescote manor, around the hamlet, was given at the Conquest to the Earl of Mellent; was, in great part, transferred by him to the monks of Preanx; and passed, at the dissolution, to the family of Andrews.
