SHREWSBURY AND WELSHPOOL RAILWAY, a railway in Salop and Montgomery; from Shrewsbury 16½ miles westward, past Westbury, to the Oswestry and Newtown at Welshpool, with a branch of 5 miles to Minsterley. It was authorized in 1856; and was leased in 1864 to the Northwestern.
