PORINGLAND (Little or West), a parish in Henstead district, Norfolk; contiguous to the W side of Great Poringland. Post-town, Framingham-Earl, under Norwich. Pop., 46. Houses, 11. The manor belongs to the Rev. J. Holmes. The living is a rectory, annexed to the rectory of Howe, in the diocese of Norwich. The church is in ruins.
