PIDDLE, or Trent (The), a river of Dorset; ris inga little N of Piddletrenthide; and running about 20 miles, south-eastward and east-south-eastward, past Piddlehinton, Piddletown Tollpuddle, and Turners-Puddle, to Poole harbour, 1½ mile E of Wareham.
