PENDINE, a parish in the district of Narberth and county of Carmarthen; on Carmarthen bay, 5 miles W S W of Laugharne, and 7 S S W of St. Clears r. station. It has a post-office under St. Clears. Acres, 1, 578; of which 615 are water. Real property, £600. Pop., 175. Houses, 38. The property is divided among four. The living is a rectory, annexed to the rectory of Llandawke, in the diocese of St. Davids. The church is not very good.
