PEMBROKE and TENBY railway, a railway system in Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire; compris ing, first, a line from Pembroke-Dock eastward to Tenby, with a branch from Pembroke-Dock to Hobbs-Point; next, several short lines, including an extension to Whitland. The first part was authorized in 1859, on a capital of £80,000 in shares, and £26, 600 in loans; is 12 miles long; and was in operation in 1865. The second part was authorized in 1864, on a capital of £200,000 in shares, and £66, 600 in loans; is aggregately 18 miles long; and was in operation in 1867.
