OLDBURY, a curious earthwork in Cod ford, St. Mary parish, Wilts; on Cod ford Hill, 4 miles S E of Heytesbury. It is called also Cod ford Circle; it is supposed to have been formed, not for defensive purposes, but by the Druids for religions rites; and it commands a very interesting view.
