A tract, with 13 of the pop., and 4 of the houses, is an allotment in the Wildmore Fen. The manor belongs to J. B. Stanhope, Esq. The living is a rectory, united with the p. curacy of Wood-Enderby, in the diocese of Lincoln. Value, £200.* Patron, the Bishop of Manchester. The church was rebuilt in 1866; is in the early English style; and consists of nave and chancel, with vestry, porch, and NW spirelet. There are a Wesleyan chapel and a national school.
