LLANGOVEN, a parish in the district and county of Monmouth; 2¼ miles S by E of Raglan-Footpath r. station, and 5¾ SW of Monmouth. Post town, Monmouth. Acres, 1,889. Real property, £1,654. Pop., 137. Houses, 24. The property is much divided. The living is a p. curacy, united with the p. curacy of Pen-y-Clawdd, in the diocese of Llandaff. Valne, £120.* Patrons, the Dean and Chapter of Llandaff. The church is dedicated to St. Goven, and is good. Charities, £13.
