West Derby.-- par. and local government district, SW. Lancashire - par. (partly within the bor. of Liverpool), 6203 ac., pop. 101,162; dist., 5561 ac., pop. 33,614; the sta. is 4 miles NW. of Central Station, Liverpool; the par. was, until 1847, part of Walton on the Hill par.
