CHARLTON-MUSGROVE, a parish in wincanton district, Somerset; on the river Cale, near the Somerset and Dorset railway, 1 mile NNW of Wincanton r. station. Post Town, Wincanton, under Bath. Acres, 2,153. Real property, £3,762. Pop., 418. Houses, 103. Part of the land is recently enclosed common. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Bath and Wells. Value, £463. Patron, the Rev. Paul Leir. The church is decorated English; and has a fine tower. There are a Baptist chapel and a national school.
