WINWICK, a parish in Daventry district, Northampton; on the Grand Union canal, 4½ miles NNE of Crick r. station. Post town, Rugby. Acres, 2,038. Real property, £3,902. Pop., 122. Houses, 30. The manor belongs to Sir J. H. Langham, Bart. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Peterborough. Value, £530.* Patron, the Bishop of P. The church's chancel was rebuilt in 1853, and the rest restored in 1856. There are a paro chial school, and charities £24.
