RUSHCLIFFE, a wapentake in the S of Notts; cut into two divisions, N and S; and containing 11 parishes and parts of 2 others in the N div., and 16 in the S div. Acres, 21, 593 and 22, 340. Pop. in 1851, 6, 243 and 6,034; in 1861, 11, 777. Houses, 2, 630.
