ROOSE, a sub-district and a hundred in the S W of Pembroke.—The sub-district contains the parishes of Burton, Rosemarket, and Llanstadwell; and is in Pembroke district. Acres, 9, 545. Pop. in 1851, 2, 349; in 1861, 3, 225. Houses, 622. The hundred contains also23 other parishes, and parts of 2 others. Acres, 65, 801. Pop. in 1851, 15, 661; in 1861, 16, 197. Houses, 3, 178.
