FOXLEY, a parish in Mitford district, Norfolk; 2 miles S by E of Foulsham, and 3½ E by S of Elmham r. station. Post town, Bawdeswell, under Thetford. Acres, 1, 620. Real property, £2, 570. Pop., 278. Houses, 59. The property is divided among a few. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich. Value, £380.* Patron, the Rev. H. Lombe. The church has a pinnacled tower, and is tolerable.
