PILSLEY, a township in North Wingfield parish, Derby; 5¾ miles S E by E of Chesterfield. Real property, £2, 175. Pop. in 1851, 403; in 1861, 628. Houses, 117. Many of the inhabitants are employed in coal mining and iron-manufacture.
