BRENTINGBY, a chapelry in Wyfordby parish, Leicester; on the river Wreak, the Oakham canal, and the Midland railway, 2 miles E of Melton-Mowbray. Post Town, Melton-Mowbray. Pop., 54. The living is a p. curacy, annexed to the vicarage of Thorpe-Arnold, in the diocese of Peterborough.
