POOLE, a township in Acton parish, Cheshire; near the Chester canal, 2½ miles N N W of Nantwich. Acres, 770. Real property, £1, 685. Pop., 187. Houses, 39. P. Hall was formerly the seat of the Leycesters, and is now the residence of F. W. Fernie, Esq.
