BUCKABANK, or Buckhow-Bank, a township in Dalston parish, Cumberland; on the river Caldew, adjacent to the Carlisle and Maryport railway, 5½ miles SW of Carlisle. Real property, £3,409. Pop., 617. Houses, 111. Here are cotton works, a foundry, and an edgetool manufactory.
