LLANVEAU, or LLANVEDW, a hamlet in Michaelstone-y-Vedw parish, Glamorgan; on the river Rumney, at the boundary with Glamorgan, 5½ miles ESE of Caerphilly. Acres, 2,299. Real property, £1,962. Pop., 309. Houses, 62. Ruperrah and Cefn-Mably are chief residences.
