BRAFFERTON, a township in Great Aycliffe parish, Durham; on the river Skerne, and on the Northeastern railway, 4½ miles N of Darlington. Acres, 2,409. Real property, £2,158. Pop., 254. Houses, 44. There is a Methodist chapel.
