ROWNER, a parish in Fareham district, Hants; on the G sport and Salisbury railway, near Portsmouth harbour, 2½ miles N W of Gosport. Post-town, Fareham. Acres, 1, 191. Real property, £1, 660. Pop., 147. Houses, 28. The property is divided among a few. Amineral spring and remains of an old priory are near thechurch. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Winchester. Value, £399.* Patron, the Rev. E. Henville. The church is ancient but good.
