RUSHTON, a township in Tarporley parish, Cheshire; 2¼ miles E N E of Tarporley. Acres, 1,843. Real property, £2, 582. Pop., 342. Houses, 65. Boothurstwas a seat of the Welds. There are chapels for Wesleyans and Primitive Methodists.
