FOXEARTH, a parish in the district of Sudbury and county of Essex; near the river Stour, at the boundary with Suffolk, 3½ miles NW by N of Sudbury r. station. It has a post office under Sudbury. Acres, 1, 640. Real property, £3, 161. Pop., 400. Houses, 101. The property is subdivided. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Rochester. Value, £396.* Patron, the Rev. J. Foster. The church is old but very good; and has an embattled tower.
