GRATWICH, a parish in Uttoxeter district, Stafford; on an affluent of the river Trent, 2½ miles WSW of Bromshall r. station, and 4¼ W by S of Uttoxeter. Post town, Uttoxeter, under Stoke-on-Trent. Acres, 856. Real property, £1, 270. Pop., 101. Houses, 19. The property is divided among a few. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Lichfield. Value, £123. Patron, the Earl of Shrewsbury. The church is good.
